Biographical History Jeni Reeves is a New York native. She spent 3 years in Kenya in the 1980's, came back to the U.S. and eventually began to illustrate children's books on African American themes. She moved to Cedar Rapids in 1996. A 2004 exhibit in the AAHMCCI changing gallery featured her work.
