Scope & Content This collection contains two letters written by U.S. Soldiers, one from World War I and the other from World War II. They contain both general and personal information; however the more recent letter contains some comments about racial prejudices here in the states.
Biographical History The WWI letter was purchased from AAHMCCI funds by former executive director Joe McGill. The letter donated by Hydek was written by a classmate from Iowa State College in response to an inquiry about what each classmate was doing during WWII.
