Scope & Content |
This collection contains two letters written by U.S. Soldiers, one from World War I and the other from World War II. They contain both general and personal information; however the more recent letter contains some comments about racial prejudices here in the states. |
Biographical History |
The WWI letter was purchased from AAHMCCI funds by former executive director Joe McGill. The letter donated by Hydek was written by a classmate from Iowa State College in response to an inquiry about what each classmate was doing during WWII. |
