Unidentified Horse Training Book Book fragment begins on page 5 which has sketch of an old fashion car passing a horse and buggy on a road. All from 'BOOK NUMBER SEVEN' which is about 'OVERCOMING SPECIAL FEARS' and ending on page 28. There is one loose page from 'BOOK NUMBER EIGHT' which is over 'TEACHING TRICKS' and is page 37 and 38. |
Biographical History |
Mr. Dawson grew up on a farm has father purchased near Farmington, Iowa circa 1947 and farmed it until the early 1970's. His father, as was common with African American farmers, was known for his ability to train horses. This book fragment belonged to Henry Dawson who would have used them in his practice of horse training and as a stock doctor. |
