20 postcards gathered in a postcard envelope that depicts what is inside, one postcard depicts smaller images of the other 19 postcards, the other 19 postcards depict a stamp which in turn depicts an important African-American from the 1700s to the early 1900s along with a biography of that person. 6 sets (OS) with 4 identical stamps on each depicting a significant African-American (Dr. Mary Walker, W. E. B. DuBois, 2 sets of Carter G. Woodson, Scott Joplin, Jackie Robinson ): the four stamps are attached to a stiff paper with artwork at the top depicting that person and a biography either alongside the stamps or on the other side of the paper; 1 First Day of Issue stamp and envelope depicting Whitney Moore Young: the envelope is attached to a stiff paper with artwork to the side and a biography below and continuing to the other side of the paper; Oversized Collection: 3 First Day of Issue stamps (Mary McLeod Bethune, Salem Poor (OS), Robert Peary/Matthew Henson) w/ accompanying illustrations and biographical captions.
