Navy blue book titled "Triumphant Service Songs" compiled by Homer A. Rodeheaver, Yumbert P. Rodeheaver, George W. Sanville, and Joseph N. Rodeheaver. 1934 Book cover is dark navy blue, with a light surface texture. On front, "Triumphant Service Songs" is written in light yellowish color, inside a rectangle; same thing appears smaller on the spine. Biographical History |
Connie Hillsman was born in Cedar Rapids, IA. Connie worked in the Tyler Elementary School Library until beginning her job at Cargill Corn in 1978 where she remained until retiring in 2001. She is an avid genealogist and is very interested in the genealogy of the African American families in Cedar Rapids, especially those that have lived in the area the longest. Connie has collected many objects, documents, and photographs relating to African American history in Cedar Rapids. |
